Interesting Website for cooking

New postby JeepChick on Sun Jan 10, 2010 9:39 am

This site is done by Ree Drummond who is an author with a new cookbook called The Pioneer Woman. I've read comments that her new cookbook contains most of the recipes found on her site. Once on the site, click the tab "cooking" to get to her recipes. She includes pictures with lots of good reading and also a way to print just the recipe. She also has links to several other good sites.

Watch her site daily for contest she holds -- she has given away kitchenaid mixers, wusthoff knives, etc.

Enjoy!

Welcome JC. Thanks for the site. I never heard of her before, but I like her recipes and her sense of humor.

I, too enjoyed the site. That Marlboro Man sandwich looks delicious - have to try that one (especially now that I did my cholestrol testing). It uses a lot of butter but it looks marvelous. The pictures were mouth-watering. I plan on going back and reading her love story also. I did make some popcorn that she had in one of her recipes - uses peanut butter and honey. It was wonderful. Welcome aboard, JC and great contribution.
